For all the LB talk all of camp, why was Chase barely mentioned? I mean he started from the beginning of camp until the end. Players were moved around and many did get snaps with the ones. Seems odd. If healthy, I personally expect Chase to start this year. How I wish Pruitt would add just 10 lbs before Fall camp.

If Chase Smith is starting we are in a horrible way at LB

All I took from him being mentioned was that maybe he’s finally healthy and that’s good for him personally but doesn’t mean much for the depth chart

You attended practices, correct? I can only speak for myself but I’m in show me mode. Smith was one of my favorite recruits from the 2021 class the way he played in high school. But he’s been injured for years now. And when he got back in the game last season he didn’t show much. Is he an Arroyo or a Raphael Kirby?

If Heatherman is a good DC and Personally coaches the Linebackers then Hayes, Wiley, PoPo, Pruitt and Wes should all thrive in his Defense.

Because in the limited snaps he's played in 4 years he's been bad. He's a special teamer. He doesn't have good mobility/agility. Why should anyone expect the light to turn on and a flip to be switched his 5th year?

If he is a starter, there Is no excuse in the world for why we shouldn't be taking 2 starting portal LB.
