Kedon Slovis

I was listening to Miami Flo last night. I take things what I hear with a grain of salt, I don't get mad if they don't come to pass. However, during his show he stated that Mario will target players in the portal even if we are stacked/ talented at a certain position.
He stated that certain people that started last year may get mad and portal away. Just something to keep a eye on.
Personally, I like the idea. Cream rises to the top.

He stressed competition repeatedly in his press conference.

This would show it ain't just talk.

If I've learned anything, it's that there's no telling who we'll have trouble with. We beat NCST and PITT but lost to fsu.
There is some luck involved.

More talent gives you an edge but does not guarantee victory in one singular game.

If you are a 10 point fav your team should win 70% of the time but it also means the underdog will beat you 3 out of 10.

Bama wins because they have overwhelming talent which is where we need to get to.

That is the only way to minimize FSU type upsets.

Good friend of mine is a big Pitt fan. Says former USC QB is signing with Pitt.

Pitt has almost whole offense back. Wouldn’t surprise me if they are solid again. May be our main competition in Coastal.

Even when we suck we beat Pitt. Irrelevant thread....

Fascinating snapshot in that link. We've only lost to Pitt 3 times since the mid-1970's:

* The dreaded noon start time on the morning after Thanksgiving in 2017 at Pitt.

* Senior Day in 2014 when the entire senior class went to Al Golden and asked for Ryan Williams to be given some reps in that game. Golden being the biggest piece of animal ***** that he was, refused to play Ryan Williams on Senior day even though the only thing on the line in that game was 4th place in the Coastal division. The entire senior class played horribly that game. I'll never forgive Golden for that move. What a scumbag that guy was.

* 1997 - The year the Canes only had 53 scholarship football players due to that crazy NCAA probation.
