I feel like we shouldn't start accepting committments until after July. I think our first 4 commits have already decommitted. Its to the point where when a kid commits early I just expect him to ink with another school.

As a general rule the NCAA should do two things.

1. There is no commitment PERIOD.

2. 1 Early NSD the Tuesday after thanksgiving (maybe mid December but before January). At that point, after you sign an LOI you are officially committed. If you don't sign, you are just a kid who is not committed to any school.

I picture Golden during this last month like the Terminator. Beamer, Dabo, Fischer, and Saban are all piled into the bed of a pickup truck with their recruits, squeezing off shotgun rounds, but Golden never breaks stride and just keeps gaining on them. The wounds quickly reseal and he only flinches as he closes in.

There have been some classic posts that I've read since joining...but just picturing Al walk through gun shots...it's actually somewhat believable to me.

SFM obviously has a much better team and program but Verot's facility is probably the best locally.

Always was when I was there. Grad from NFMHS C/O 98'. Used to go over to Verot for the City of Palms Basketball Tourneys every December. Haven't been back since 09'

Verot C/O 98 myself. We were the first to get field turf locally. Im sure that played a factor in us getting the game there over SFM

My kid graduated last year from Verot. Their field is the best in area. Hope the Canes go back this spring.
