The critism he got was because he sucked. It wasn't personal. The only gripe he has is that he was exposed because we didn't have anyone better to replace him with. Every player that could have left, except for Bunche, stayed. And Bunche left as a 5th year senior, because he wasnt guaranteed a starting spot.

I didnt mean to make it seem like he didnt deserve it. He truly was awful and definitely deserved the criticism. I was just saying that I understood why he'd make a comment like that because Im sure he felt like the fans should have supported him no matter what. But when you are as bad as him, you got to expect the negativity. It truly was unfortunate that we didnt have anyone to play over him.

Golden stuck with him much longer than any coach would have.

Rodgers was given a ship by Shannon as a favor to his dad who is a coach with the Dolphins. Same thing was done with Highsmith. Golden felt obligated to play them because of the influence their fathers have in the NFL. Both are long time NFL coaching/front office vets.

Who knows what their daddies are telling them.

I can tell you one thing, if Rodgers thinks he has any future at any level of football he is delusional. The 2nd worst DB I have seen n my 25 years of watching Miami football. 1st is Highsmith.

WTF??? That would be an even bigger indictment against Golden if true. You play the best 22 regardless of outside influence. He is paid 2 mil a year to produce the best team with what he has.

Easily one of the biggest abominations of a moment I've ever seen by a player wearing a Canes uniform.

That moment told me everything I needed to know about this kid's ability. It's one thing to misplay a ball and make a mistake....all the great ones make mistakes.

That, however, was a play that most high school players would have at least made a play on. At the very least.....even if you hopelessly misplayed the ball....you interfere with the guy and don't just give up a free TD.

A pure abomination.

Kid's a Cane. If that's the worst thing he ever says about the school and program, then I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does from here.

This is why following kids twitters is pointless. Maybe he was talking about breaking up with a GF? Maybe he was talking about moving out of his current housing situation? Who knows and who cares?
