They never do.

If a former player is close to a top recruit they think they're coming.
If a current player is friend with a top recruit they think they're coming.
If they liked 3 pro canes tweets in a row they think they're coming.
If a top target visits Campus more then 3 times they think they're coming.
If a recruit family are die-hard hurricanes fans they think they're coming.
If they have a snap chat and the location is in Miami they think they're coming.
If a recruit says UM is their "dream school" and begs for an offer they think they're coming.
If some random clown on twitter makes a tweet about "being in the lead" for a top target they think they're coming.
If a player commits to us they think they're coming

This fan base is retarded and believe anything you throw at them as long as if favorable no matter how little sense it makes.

How could anyone actually believe dude was coming here but then they will also tell you Manny can't recruit. PICK ONE. We either can or can not close. Right now we can't.

Anyone who thought we had a legit chance should be banned immediately. It would instantly rise the IQ of the board instantly which is much needed.

If whoever you got your feeling from was connected to this program, you are wrong. If it is based on an interaction with a kid on a visit high, you are wrong. It is a bad sign when only our fan base thinks we are in it for something. The kid was being courteous to his dads childhood friend. That’s it, that’s all it ever was. Our coaches have no ******* idea who is coming here, they are all amateurs and any confidence they broadcast should have been taken with a huge grain of salt.

running third in a recruitment does not mean a ******* thing. No different than being 50th. Neither get him, neither are relevant. He was staying out west or he was going to Clemson. That is it, that is all it ever was.
