Rodgers played much better towards the end of 2012. Either you're too blinded by your hate to have noticed, or you simply don't watch the games.
On occasion. If you aren't willing to admit he is far too often a major liability back there, then you have your own bias. I never rule a kid out, unless he is just limited physically. KC has some great physical tools, so it's always possible he may turn the corner.
IMO, when a player is playing bad, or not up to par...the thing he's usually lacking is confidence (if talent isn't the issue). Coach is probably trying to build his KC's mind. Coach Paul W. is that type of guy. Cool, calm, collected, and knows how to train a kid mentality (mindfreak like Phil Jackson), I've met him before.
Transitioning from the CB position, into understanding whats required physically at the saftey position, sometimes it takes a while.
I beleive a kid can turn the corner. And KC has reason...his dad has NFL coaching experience, and im sure there's some motivation to turn things up during his SR year to reach the league. That's the goal of most SR's
After all, he didn't have anyone in front of him to lead by example. VT & Ray Ray missed tackles for fun. He now has guys to push him.
I think there's hope for KC, but Highsmith on the other hand, wouldn't be surprised if Fentress steals his playing time.
