They posted this on their official Youtube channel. Which means that there were numerous people in the Athletic department that thought this was a good thing.

Don't underestimate Taggert. Fair warning.
I saw him take a horrific Western KY squad and make them a respectable bowl team.
He ain't Randy Shannon....he's a proven commodity and a good one on his way up the ranks. USF is a big step for him and he will be hungry to prove his metal.
after rewatch...........
That video is an utter joke. I wonder where this team would be if they never got rid of Jim Leavitt. Jim is doing incredible stuff with the 49ers, probably would have continued to have 8-9 win seasons with USF.
As for USF overall, there is no reason they can't be a 9 win team in the AAC especially with UL leaving. USF will never get the top recruits in Florida, but they don't need to get them. There is plenty of talent in the state to be head.
- Jason Pierre-Paul
- Mistrial Raymond
- Nate Allen
- Jacquian Williams
- Stephen Nicholas
- Mike Jenkins
- George Selvie
- Terrell McClain
- Carlton Mitchell
If they get a coach that can recruit the state well, develop talent then they can get 9-10 wins per year. They need to schedule crap OOC teams as well but this seems to be used by the SEC so why not USF.
Harbaugh disciple.Give him 3 cycles and that will be a very physical team.USF is done. This clown ain't turning around USF.
They are gonna start failing in the major sports big time.. Not surprising when the school hires Al Queda members as faculty.

USF is one of those teams that, in the back of my mind, has me worried as a Canes fan. You saw how quickly they rose with Leavitt. Now they've had some bad luck with conference realignment and all, but if they should ever get everything clicking, they could really get that program up and running. That's why I was so thankful Butch Davis didn't go there.
If they do get clicking, that sucks for us, because we recruit a lot of the same areas.
They're a bigger school than Miami and they could have a bigger athletics budget if they wanted
Tampa is almost as good as Miami when it comes to talent
Academics are garbage, so anyone can get in there
Between them and UCF, they're not that far off from where they could start stealing recruits from us, especially our Tampa recruits. At least as long as we're still "down." Especially if the NCAA really rips us up.
