Just For Laughs: They Clearly Don't Know Who Kaaya Is

We don't know who Kaaya is.

Really this is the best post in this thread. We all THINK he's gonna be a good one. I'm the first to admit that I've got a man crush on this kid already...the poise in the pocket, the way he slides in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield, and most of all his ability to manipulate defenders by looking off his primary. Up until now everything we have seen looks **** impressive.

The problem with all that is the fact that every clip that we have seen of him to this point was against a D'onfrio run defense. If we're honest with ourselves we'd be saying the exact same **** Louisville fans are saying if the situation was reversed. "They've got a true freshman starting" "Stack the box and make him throw".....and fill in whatever other cliche works.

All that being said I have high hopes for this kid.

I ******* hate Louisville. Kaaya might **** the bed, and he might be a stud, but I ******* hate Louisville and their ******* pompous fans. They have the history of ******* Wake Forest and the arrogance of Notre Dame. ******* inbred horse ****ers.

Will Gardner from Louisville's website: Played for Ken Eldridge at Coffee High School... three-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com... rated as the 29th-best pro-style quarterback by Rivals.com... ranked 47th by Scout.com, has good accuracy but can improve arm strength for better control of deep throws.

Go ahead, throw a deep one, Tracy could use an interception in the first game.

If the situation was reversed we'd probably be saying the same thing.

The situation is reversed. Who the fck is this Gardner **** they're starting?

This Kaaya kid seems to have you drinking just a little bit of the kool-aide.

First and foremost, I'm a UM man. I'm not a Golden fan, but I'm going to enjoy the season until there's a reason not to.

Perfect.

UM

After how they embarrassed us with a senior qb a few months ago it's not hard to see how they are very confident with a freshmen qb walking into their stadium Labor Day night.

What would be funny is them acting any other way than currently are.

We're starting a true Frosh on the road in a relatively hostile environment against a lot of the same players that throttled us in our last game. We lost some players, they lost some, we got some back, and yes....Morris wasn't the most poised QB in the world but he'd been in this type of situation before.

They're saying everything any rational person would say in their shoes.

Lmao. Can't wait for them to come after a Kaaya, then he slings it to Coley, Dorsett or Waters down the field for a TD or a slant to kill em with Lewis or Berrios.

These ****ers are not gonna know what hit them. I'm telling you. Their in for a rude awakening.

I hope you are right. While I am loving the energy right now, I (as are many of you) are recovering from fan PTSD from the past 10 years of being let down. If we **** the bed again, we might need a suicide hotline number up on these boards.

:crownpour: heres hoping for a good season. Go CANES!!!

Jedi, I understand what you are saying but there is something about this kid. The force is strong with him. I would love for someone to do a midichlorian count on him. I'm sure he has an incredibly high level. Higher than Master Yoda for sure.

I love it ..... bring the house loserville...I can see Coley licking his chops for screens to Duke,Yearby and Coley! Imagine them in space:newman:

Reminds me a lot of this game for some reason...

Just goes to show you that as good as those Canes were they still had to fight, and it took plays like Hester made to climb back in it. Hester's sick, almost supernatural acceleration (2:41, and 8:00 mark) is/was incredible.

Need some returns this year.

Lots of running plays, lots of play action and a TON of short to intermediate passes to the TEs. MAYBE 5 deep passes.

I still feel good about our chances, especially if we are successful on 3rd down and control the clock. We shall see...
