Why don't you use your contacts to figure out what the plan is offensively? Is Mario stepping in with the offense? Do they have no confidence in tvd? Why is there no innovation? What has changed from the first half of the season to now?
 
before the season started, I predicted Miami to go 8-4 losing @ NCST, @UNC, @FSU, & some other home loss.

This was a classic look ahead spot for Miami right before the FSU game (which is essentially the Super Bowl for us). I bet NCST +6 and it was never in doubt.

Now I look for Miami to play GREAT but in another losing effort @ Tallahassee. Beat Louisville @ home & Close out vs BC

👆🏼this right here. This is precisely what’s happened to me. It’s a ****** shame too. My kids are in their late teens and this is what they know the Canes as - BORING and IRRELEVANT. I went out to dinner with my wife at halftime yesterday and didn’t care that I was missing the second half - I knew that this team would be 8-4 at best come December and that the offense in the second half would continue to cure insomnia.

I don’t care about assigning blame. Mario sucks. TVD sucks. James Williams tackling sucked last night. Dawson sucks. Julio Frenk really really sucks. LifeWallet sucks and their stock sucks even more (Side bar: I can’t be the only one who thinks Ruiz/LifeWallet smells a little like ole Nevin Shapiro, am I?). Game day decisions suck. Offensive game strategy sucks. Attendance sucks. Hard Rock sucks. A new stadium next to campus sucks too. I will always love The U, but most of all, not being relevant sucks.

For the first time since I was a kid and didn’t even know what football was, I’m going to pass on watching the FSU game. The script is already there. TVD will start, we will try to play ball control and have 12 play 6-7 min drives to limit FSU possessions and still lose 31-9. The display the last 2 games by a P5 QB in todays’s college football, 0 TDs and 7 total turnovers (would be 8 without the UVA safeties drop) should cost someone their job when he takes the field Saturday for us.

I went to a chicken stew last night with 100 people. Wore my U beanie. All the state fans there were just talking **** and I couldn't say ****. Bad enough my wife and brother in law are state grads.


But the mario bros think we are headed in the right direction.
 
There were about 30 reasons to lose faith in Mario last night. Not trying to get AT LEAST 3 before half is awful. Having a slow *** offense that lets the defense stack the box just to run straight at them over and over is unwatchable. Then we have this QB that’s so obviously broken and we keep trotting him out there and putting him in the same situations. I’ve been a diehard for 35 years and for the 1st time I’m questioning why I invest so much time in this program. It’s just awful.

We recruit it, but to their credit so far, the elite QB talent has been smart enough to stay away. Good on them, they're all making the right decision in not committing to this corch.

I really dont see how any (or many) blue-chip offensive recruits would want to play in this offensive system/philosophy...
 
It is always about coaching and scheming in college football (NFL too), however that said when you have a QB who looks like he doesn't even want to be out there and your backup is a raw rookie you are as they say f******

I'm kinda there too and it sucks. Been there for a while to be honest. The best day of the season is the first day. After that it's down hill. The Clemson win gave me life but they took that away from me by starting Tyler van rubles.
 
No semi-competent head coach would continue to play a QB that is broken. Doing so week after week is coaching malpractice. He is putting TVD further into the line of fire and making him the target for all the vitriol being unleashed by the fans. Leave TVD alone. He’s average and broken. Kid is begging to be benched. Our obstinate pos head coach needs to man up and bench him. I ******* despise the Neanderthal for this.
