So why can't he just publicly announce it and start recruiting the other beasts to this class and be the leader of the class?

I get the feeling that Richt has commits that have not gone public yet. If you follow Pete and Marrero on Twitter, read what they and recruits are saying, there is too much smoke. I could be dead wrong but I believe a good portion of this class is done.

This isn't a recent thing, Blades shoulda been committed a long time ago. But were getting to the point where it actually matters that he be publicly committed.

It's still extremely early in this cycle. Plenty of traditional recruiting powerhouses only have like 1 or 2 commits. Relax.
