If not this year, then in the future, IF the Junior Day is always on Super Bowl Sunday, would be a good look for the Staff to have a Super Bowl viewing event for the juniors at the end of the day.
- Keep them around campus a lil longer.
- Point out the Canes in the game or elected to the HOF that weekend.
- Maybe even have some NFL Canes (those who can't make it for Paradise due to training camp but are free around this time of year) stop by (especially next year with the Super Bowl being held down here).
Make it like the Paradise event in the summer.
- Have the viewing area decorated with posters/banners and videos showing Canes alums playing in the Super Bowl:
-- Jim Kelly going 4 straight times
-- Otis Anderson winning MVP of SB 25
-- Ted Hendricks blocking the FG in SB 15
-- Michael Irvin dominating Super Bowl 27
-- Ray Lewis winning MVP in SB 35
-- Dan Morgan's 18 tackles in SB 38
-- Hester taking the opening kick back in SB 44
-- Shockey scoring the winning touchdown in SB 44
-- Reed's INT in SB 47
- Maybe have some super bowl rings on display.
- Maybe have Jimmy Johnson come talk about winning Super Bowls or sumthin, idk.
You know, drive the point home that "Guys who come here don't just go to the NFL, they play in and win Super Bowls".
Make kids want to come to Miami in the winter FOR this event AND want to come back in the summer for Paradise.
Gotta innovate to get a leg up on all the schools still having an ordinary smhordinary Junior Day event.
