People are judging us against Bama, UGA, and OSU out the gate. They are setting themselves up for MASSIVE disappointment. That **** IS NOT HAPPENING. Not right away.

We have to take steps. We need to get into the 5-10 tier and then push it from. That shows we are a serious program that is fun to play for and gets guys drafted high across multiple positions. This makes it easier to sell our uniqueness to serious-minded recruits and have a chance to get them at a discount as opposed to the suck tax premium.

Facts u cannot be those programs without being stacked. Can u sneak into a cfbp while starting out in a second year? It's possible but super unlikely. Those teams took awhile to rise into machine like mode. People expecting crazyness are just like Yankee fans. Like bruh they need to relax. We still need to see another elite class for me to say ok this is the formula. If it doesn't have elite at the top he going to be in a little trouble. And he doesn't want to be with this restless fan base. We have to be one of the most toxic against our own (when we losing) when we haven't done sh in 20 years. Its crazy the expectations when u look at our roster, then you see the top rosters and then everyone else. The everyone else is us and that means yea you are going to have toss up games.

no one is asking for us to be UGA or Bama even tho both programs had 1 loss seasons in their second year (had the playoff been around when saban lost to UF in the SECCG, they would have made the playoff) and bama was coming off a bad stretch of football similar to us when they hired Nick. UGA a bit diff since richt was a consistent 10 game winner there but they still did it in year 2 with a first time HC. TCU made the title game in year 1 with a new coach. Duke won 9 games w a new coach in thw same conf and division that we play in and hes never been an HC before. we have more talent than TCU and Duke. we dont have more talent than bama uGA OSU but no one is saying we should be in their ballpark. that takes time to go toe to toe with them on the field, but it doesnt mean you cant be competitive and field a good team (TCU and Duke - both their successes are due 100 percent to the coaching change)
