Time to get cooking on the trail again. Big weekend that I won’t say has to result in multiple commits, but it would be really nice. I’ll stretch that imperative July window to early August, but with fall camp starting soon and Mario putting his attention towards the biggest season in the last twenty or so years, the window is certainly smaller…then we turn our attention to the season and late recruiting pushes.

Lightfoot, JoJo and Jones were massive, but that’s not good enough for an entire month of July (given the standards and fireworks mentioned). Out of the top 15 right now with Texas, Auburn, Arkansas and SCar in good positions to jump us, potentially putting us in the 20-range (floor btw, not getting possibly jumped by anyone else).

Franklin, Patterson are must gets in the boat. Ahfua looks like he’ll drag this out a bit sadly, who knows what’s up with Cole. Massive weekend for Breland and Mincey, hopefully we can flip McCoy as well. Shouldn’t take too much effort.

Very excited, let’s turn the heat up to finish the month.

Any commits we getn before the season starts have to develop out of this. The narrative and focus will be back on the actual play starting next week. Plus these kids have their own seasons to deal with as well. I will say this im not freaked if we dont get commits, as long as they dont commit elsewhere either. We shocked people with our play in a bad way last season. Think its time we do the same, but in a good way this time. With over half the players new players and much of them players Cristobal brought in, its time to see it on the field.

Easily tangible goal, how about get a RB well over 1k yards rushing or over 2500 yards as a team. Wouldnt mind if we put up 300 yards on Miami OH on the ground. Just long runs all day.

Prolly too much to ask.
