Here's the thing: Based on how our offense has performed over the past 10 years, how can anyone expect us to recruit decent QBs? Like, lets get real. We've averaged 30+ points on offense five times since 2010. We haven't had a QB being drafted in the first three rounds in this millenium! It took us until 2021 to get rid of the Bro Style and play 21st century offense. And now, for the first time in the programs history, despite all of the athletic ability this hotbed named South Florida has, we got a OC from the Air Raid tree.
Please explain to me, under all these circumstances, how we're supposed to recruit a overly talented QB who hits the ground running early. There is nothing to sell and nothing to show for. It's like recruiting CBs under Manny: How is that supposed to work when the defense that you are playing is utter dog****? Kids aren't stupid. They have parents, HS coaches, handlers and teammates in their ear all the time and some of them know a thing or two about football.
Produce on the field and collect the talent.
