Juco DT Offer Jaden Hamlin

Doubt it. Seems pretty self defeating when you only have 85 scholarships to give out. Being heavy at one position is gonna cost you somewhere else.
If this a philosophy with 85 scholarships it is a a long term losing philosophy. I agree with you. It’s dumb to over recruit because at some point it means another position was under recruited. See TAMU.

If we land this JUCO youngman (Hamlin ) and 2024 NT Alvin Puefua (polynesian kid from Utah) and pair them with the Bama transfer, plus the returning DT'S we have Miami will good for 2 years. 2025 dline class is stacked in Florida.

Hopefully Hamlin has matured while at JUCO and is ready to travel farther away from home because coming out of High School distance was a factor in his choice of JUCO. So in terms of school, if a 2nd tier SEC offers he is most likely staying in SEC Country. Such as MSU.

2nd biggest need on the team for next year is DT. We need some war daddies to clog things. I think Guidry is very good and if we give him some dominant hogs in the middle, we could have a top 5 D next year. Hopefully, this young man fits that and comes here.
