JUCO DT Campbell has a story to tell

Does anybody remember this kid coming out of Lakeland? Somebody must. I don't. That doesn't mean anything because I tend to forget kids from years past, especially if UM is not after them.

The charge is Driving While License Suspended. Wonder what happened, and what made you look up his name to see if he's been arrested before?

I was just googling his name and Lakeland to see if I could find some old recruiting information or something about him while he was in HS. This popped up. It mgiht not be a biggie at all. I've known of people to get arrested in Polk county or one of the other southwest Florida counties (Lee, I think?) , and I wonder if the cops are a little aggressive in that part of the state.

There was something I think on the Facebook page for Kathleen HS that popped up on the google results page said something about him having 14 offers in HS, but I couldn't find it when i went to the actual facebook page. Since he's from southwest Florida, and a big kid, maybe they're taking a look. His story might be somewhat accurate, but I still smell at least a mouse.

so do I. Not saying he doesn't have a remarkable story but the first thing he tells Pete is a lie. He never signed with West Virginia

Kid's relationship with Carroll seems to have us in good shape.
 
he is waiting. I think tht means they are waiting on simmons or julio derosier or someone else to decline before they offer him.

Why are people jumping all over this "recruitingtalk" guy? All he has done is tell you that the kid's story doenst seem credible, and he pointed out WHY. He said that this kid didnt just drop out of the blue, and that there were many stories about him and his "struggles" last year, which all dropped off after writers from other sites started to find holes in his stories.

Take that with what you want, but I think its a fair concern to raise. I mean how hard is it for some kid to sell a big drama story to some internet recruiting site writers to get attention? Its not like it would be that big of a stretch for a kid to tell some lies to get attention.

Kind of meh. Nothing jumps out on his film. Sad stories are a dime a dozen on the recruiting trail. If he gets his academics in order, he will be fine wherever he goes. Wish him well.
