Different situations, but point taken. I think he fits the Golden profile...could play strongside end or slide inside. Smith was just a pure nose that didn't pan out.

I'm assuming he would play a lot of two gap, 5 technique. Doesn't really have even the burst of a 3 technique like Keith Bryant, but he's athletic and long. At 6'5 and 280 he would almost surely line up over the tackle.
