Probably because Mario's been recruiting him this whole time and he wouldn't have given the time of day to the old staff.

I don't know if Mario can pull a rabbit out his a$$ and salvage this class to be top 20 but the man is putting in some work. Imagine a whole season and off-season, in this recruiting base, convincing kids to play and live in Miami rather than Eugene. Man..

I don't think he said he was postponing ESD to visit Miami. It seems as if he was never going to sign on ESD. We have a tendency as fans to get waaaaaay too high on players just because of an offer/visit. Just want to make that distinction.

Either way, get him on campus and let's see how things play out.
