That has zero to do with what I’m talking about. Same dudes that were convinced Manny was coming back because he was on a winning streak even though people in the know kept saying it was a done deal are now doing the same with Gattis.
I dont think anyone was convinced Manny was back. there was a lot of smoke about Mario all year esp after the Bama game. the only question would have been what happened if Mario said no (obviously he wasn't going to).

Mario has a specific coach in mind/committed that is still coaching in the NFL or playoffs, it’s been communicated to Gattis that he has a specific date to find a landing spot, and he would rather have a full staff to recruit through ESD. Not saying I think this is the case or not, but it answers your question.

if Mario hires a co-OC to call plays and game plan and a wiz QB coach to take over the reigns there then sure. if we let gattis run wild, then well be on our way to become the next Iowa

speaking of recruiting, w what cribby and inhurricane or something said today about the staff, its insane Mario doesn't let a lot of walk now. hes a relentless recruiter and finding out 2 guys are carrying the entire load is ridiculous. were sitting here thinking we can land an AH kid and our O staff barely even gets out there allegedly? what is gattis doing when hes not in Hecht that he can't get out to one of the premier programs in the area and meet a kid? what are any of them doing? signs were there when cormani doesn't even acknowledge his position coach.
I’m with you, but that’s also on Mario, Zo, etc. Get a board together and say “you are going here today.” “You have not been tk AH in two weeks. What’s going on? Go there tomorrow.” To me the more concerning part is the why behind it and how did organization and systems fail.
Still have to think (hope) common sense wins the day. The truth is, the new staffs are hiring people but not many other staffs so far are firing many people.
