I don’t see any benefit to this dude still being employed. He doesn’t help in any way for ESD. We’re getting no offensive recruits. Mario taking his time is getting annoying and hopefully it doesn’t cost us quality candidates.

Haven't had an offensive commit for some time. Seems like UM's offense is a factor.

Counter point to that is they had 2 QBs, 3 TES, 2 WRs and 5 OL committed at that time. Not a whole lot to add to that other than a RB or a WR.

Just my 2 ignorant cents but I could see Mario just prioritizing recruiting hard until ESD over making/announcing changes. I think he values talent acquisition over coaching changes and is probably going hard at it.

I disagree with the approach since I think it’s important that we show recruits that we’re making changes but he’s the head man in charge.

Didn't UGA DC get hired at Oregon during an important period last season or am i misremembering that and he left before the postseason?

he got hired before the playoffs/nc game I think (one or the other but I think it was before the playoffs). lanning stayed on to coach the playoffs and left after the nc game
