If you are truly good at what you do and have a good track record, no hiring coach gives a **** whether you were fired or not from a previous position. This past season, which is unchangeable, is 1000 times more a smear on his resume than “being fired” would be. If Mario is worried about that ahead of everything else, it’s pathetic

Franklin and Gattis go way back. This is a promising development. But if this is an attempt Mario is giving to Gattis to save face, a bit weird you leave on your own getting paid 1.8 mil. to be wide receiver coach for .5 mil. If this happens it’s rather obvious he was fired.
