He was simply citing the timeline for when Gattis was hired.

Ive reminded this board frequently that Mario had to pivot to Gattis late in his pecking order of options, hence why it seemed the process was drawn out

Many always seem to forget a lot of the details when trying to justify idiotic takes on Mario’s hiring process. He was hired 12/6 and had a ****load of irons in the fire - trying to keep and add to the recruiting class, hiring a staff, moving about as far across the country as one can get, etc, etc, etc.

He’s probably referring to Iowa St’s OC leaving to Cinci.

Nothing out there reporting an Iowa OC hiring, and Ferentz’s son would have to be re-assigned or fired first. Not that it’s where Gattis is heading, but it’s just cap regardless.
