Nothing is going to happen until after ESD minimum and most likely not until after playoff games are complete.

Clearly there is no reason to create a negative recruiting buzz days before ESD. Get those guys signed and then take next steps. The recruits aren't committed to the OC, they're committed to the program and more so Cristobal being a major recruiter.

So tell me this. How many recruits would we lose by losing the worst OC we have ever had here? How many of these young men are signing up to play in the O they just witnessed? I just don't get that line of reasoning.

Keep in mind Gattis was signed in early February. My guess (based on general contract knowledge) is that Mario will keep him until one year is up. That gives Gattis a chance to find another gig. If not, he can take a year off while making $1.8 million (or some large fraction thereof).

We'll see.
