Goldens staff did not reach out or communicate with Cronkrite for months after we had the other three backs committed, they restabliahed communications well after he decommited when it was looking like we were going to lose Dexter and Scarlett

This ridiculous attitude always kills me. Not necessarily in this case, but if a good player who originally snubbed us wants to transfer to us, why the f@ck wouldn't we take him. Do you want your team to succeed or not? You know what wins games, good players.

This kid never played us, al just decided he had better guys (wrongly) and stopped recruiting him so there's no reason to be salty about him. If the staff thinks this kid has anything to offer and he wants in they should take him, if not I'm sure Butch would love to have him.

Meh. Merely opens up another spot for Florida ahead of recruiting. Otherwise non-event. May as well read: Elite burger flipper released from Gainesville McDonald's contract.

He wasn't wrong about the other guys being better, he was wrong about having the other guys.

I'm trying to remember the poster's name. But I remember one poster was so adamant that Cronkrite was going to be immensely better compared to Dexter Williams, Mark Walton, and Jordan Scarlett. Boy was he wrong.

Doesn't matter because Walton is better than all of them. And Walton's backups are better than all of them.

So, it turned out to be another Inspector Clouseau moment for Folden just like his DT recruiting when he missed out on geniuses like Jay-Tard Bostwick, ***** Bryant and TrayofFood Valentine and was stuck with guys like Norton and McIntosh.
