Johnnie Dixon

Honestly if miami can get him and keep Langham i am good regardless of where the other receivers choose to go.

I am with this. Obviously, you still want Lane because you never want a local stud to go elsewhere, but if we get Dixon and Langham to go with Coley and Griffin the year before, we're still sitting pretty.

If Lane thinks UF is the better choice then I don't even know what to say for him. Bama at least makes sense. I just hope we get Dixon so anything else is icing on the cake.

I gotta disagree because I love Rudolph too but if we add those 3 then we are **** sure good with or without Lane

You didn't really disagree honestly.

Ok, let me rephrase it as this, I would be happy with Dixon Langham but without Lane or Rudolph I would still feel like we missed out on 2 studs and that would leave me saying what if?

lets just focus on getting some D-line honestly we need that way more than 3 more WR i want dixon and have to focus on lane but after him lets get on some high talent D-linemen like Street, clark, holley and the 2 from BTW

So in two years we can freak out about not having enough quality WR's?

How so? We literally have 6 receivers that could start on a lot of teams out there. Coley coming in, with only Hurns graduating? 2-3 a year from here going forward should keep the cupboard stocked.

remember kids O-line and D-line is how u win Championships just ask alabama or LSU or Auburn or Florida Stacking WRs is nice but u need to win the battle in the trenches to win a Natty so dont neg my post JHall

The focus is still on the dlineman as much as ever I mean we do have coaches on them heavy just like we have coaches on the qb position, the rb position and lb position. Just because we read about wr doesn't mean we aren't looking at the dline as hard as ever

lets focus on all positions

Thank u!!! Just because u go all out for a wr, doesn't mean u have to recruit a dt less. Our offense is rolling, and its going to pick up even more this year. Offensive players are seeing that, and want to be apart of it. Gotta take advantage of it and stack as much talent as u can at every single position.

I negged you because you're a moron.

No **** you need linemen. In case you haven't noticed we are recruiting the **** out of linemen.

God **** you are a dense ************.

We've got a solid group, no doubt. But let's pull back on the throttle a bit before we act like we can't improve that area every year. You say 6 and yes there's talent, but there is no top flight receiver on this team, yet. Every one of them has question marks or is still unproven.

I'm excited about them but there is elite talent out there this year. Don't rest on your laurels if you can land some if these guys I guess is my point. We don't know what the future holds for guys like Waters, Malc, Coley etc.

Cam Newton is the reason auburn won a title, so scratch them off that list.

Should add that last year we brought in 2 WRs, both with huge question marks. In two years if guys from the 2012 are indeed as good as we think, then they go to the NFL. If they aren't, well we need someone to fill that role.

WR is absolutely a critical spot this year especially with the amount of talent in the area. Tough part is convincing enough of them our depth chart might force them to redshirt or wait a year which no one seems willing to do anymore.

Actually Auburn was great in the trenches that year. They averaged 285 rushing ypg and gave up only 3.4 ypc on defense. Very stout against the run.

Nick Fairley was unblockable and that DL gave Oregon fits in the National Title game. The pass defense was suspect but that defense saved Cam a few times especially against Miss ST.

Football will always be decided on both lines of scrimmage.

Very true but would cam have all day to pass and have huge holes for the running game without that Ol?

The point is the DL makes everything easy for the back 7 and the Ol does the same for skill positions. It's cliche but football is all about line play, always will be.

This year Ala rb's average 4.5 yards BEFORE CONTACT, that tells you everything you need to know .

Btw I'm not poo pooing skill positions or especially qb's
