RT: @andrewrivins Dixon says it was an Ohio State-Miami battle till the end. Leaving Al Golden a message today was the hardest part.

From my understanding; Dixon was 100% about to announce to a different school on his previously planned date. About 2 weeks later it's OSU.

The ONLY way this is forgivable is if Dixon caught wind of us landing either Lane or Rudolph, who I think are a little better than Dixon.

Lol i aint buying he doesn't want to be home....something fishy happened and it reeks of jack.

This guy said Cook committed to Miami the day he signed the FA papers so **** him (unless Cook is a silent, then I apologize).

Meyer came out of the bullpen like Rivera in his prime and shut this **** down with one in-home visit.

That's how it's done. He rolled up to the Dixon household and got out of the car to Enter Sandman and it was a wrap before they served dessert.

Is what it is. Getting mad about not landing a kid at Dwyer is like getting mad at not landing a kid at Tallahassee Lincoln back in the day or not landing a kid at Killian once upon a time. What are we? 1-5 now at that school? LOL. Some of you guys just like to be mad and/or ****ed off just for the **** of it. Time to move on to the next kid..

I actually think Rudolph is more than a little better than Dixon. FWIW, I was told that even though Dixon and Rudolph are friends Dixon transferred from Cardinal Newman to Dwyer because he knew that TR was the guy that Walsh was going to center the offense around. I don't know if Rudolph possibly jumping on board had anything to do with Dixon's decision today but maybe our overall depth at WR did play a factor in the end..

He's not afraid of competition is he? I know we have real good depth at WR and O-taint not so much. Wonder if that played into his decision.
