Joey Galloway

McAfee is a self-absorbed loudmouth. The next time he says something intelligent about football will be the first time in his life.

He is a Miami fan in Colts clothing the way he acts. He could post on CIS under various accounts and people would mindlessly follow him like they do the others…😎

I just believe he’s a smug, little prick.

It’s okay if others don’t feel the same way and I acknowledge that his Taint pedigree feeds my distaste. But, I don’t care. He can kick rocks.

He is. I turned them off before they got going because I can’t stand him. My kids were like what are you doing? And I said put on whatever you want, but that guy drives me nuts (which was me being nice about it)

Joey Galloway is the one who came up with the "ranked at the time they played" talking point to favor the SEC. He's also an unlikable prick.

I wish they'd stop reanimating Lee Corso's corpse. Just let him go.

Describing Galloway as a little fairy is about an accurate as an assessment as I've seen the site make

**** Saban. McAfee is what he is. Which is way more exciting than a dying Lee Corso and the rest of the show that had gotten stale.
I love College Gameday as a show. Probably a lot of nostalgia as well. But I’m with you, Kirk and Des carry that show though but now Kirk is just a ******* translator for Corso and it’s so painful to watch

Yup Joey is such an ******* for mentioning something that 95% of this site mentions and actually happens weekly. Unbelievable

And I think at this point it has gone from a bunch of schtick to these guys who they are -- it is antics and roles, but they have become their characters at this point or vice versa.

Des and Herby are solid. McAfee is his boisterous self. Saban is the same mean asshat he always has been and really the only extremely predictable thing to dislike about him is his massive SEC positioning for everything out of his mouth.

Yeah McAfee I can’t stand. Dude is just a walking talking mid life crisis but I know a lot of people like him and he brings a different element

Saban has talked a lot about Miami and Cam but he’s still just a mole

Sorry. I put my iPad down and never explained what he said.

There was a segment near the end of ESPN’s College Football Final show where Matt Barrie (the main host) was asking Dan Mullen and Joey Galloway which of the games they are most interested in watching next Saturday. Barrie first engages Galloway and they talk about all of the BIG12 games to decide which teams get to play for the BIG12 championship.

Barrie then asks Mullen the same question. Mullen responds with “Miami vs. Syracuse in the Dome” and explains why. It was harmless until Barrie says if Miami gets off to a slow start like they “sometimes do” then this game might get interesting (no issue with that comment). But, Galloway jumps in and adds a sarcastic question/comment “sometimes” with a stupid smirk and a shake of the head.

I’m not doing it justice. He said it in a condescending and arrogant manner to suggest Miami is not a very good team and should not be in same conversation as his mighty Buckeyes (who earlier he was effusive in his praise) or the highly competitive SEC (where every 3-loss team deserves to be in the playoffs).

It was late and rubbed me the wrong way (PAUSE).
I kind of like that segment they do.

The story about the southern Illinois qb Michael Lindauer was wild. Never played a game actually retired to be a coach that offseason for his team. Siu had 3 of their qbs get hurt and have him suit up for the last game. His first and last start he throws 7 touchdowns.

On a side note I know exactly what you’re talking about I rolled my eyes at the Syracuse comment. ESPN doesn’t even hide it before our game they play a cinematic recap of gt. Wonder if they did that for any other top 10 program with losses.

His shtick got old really fast.

The truth ain’t always pretty

I enjoy their show. The passive aggressive 2nd grade answers and explanations can be tiresome. You're not incorrect.

Corso reminds me of the old guy in the restaurant in The Great Outdoors. One of these times he's going to pass before College Gameday starts and they'll prop him up. Hopefully no little kids give him a kiss.

What is a midlife crisis?
