Joe Brady Record Setting Offense

This is for all of the porsters on CiS that swore that Joe Brady sucked as an OC choice when Mario was rumored to be interested in him being our OC a few years ago.

The Buffalo Bills are the first team in NFL history to have an offense pass and rush for 30+ TD’s in the same season. The dude is an offensive football guru, like some of us thought he was.

I remember many of you saying that he was just the “passing game coordinator” at LSU, when he clearly was the one big difference that season that LSU won the title with their historic offense. The bottom line is, if you give this guy weapons, he will use them to carve up defenses. His stint at Carolina doesn’t count because he was given mostly crap talent to work with. Dude has proven that he’s a star.

The issue is people on here are emotional. They get way to high and way too low on coaches and players. Look at his career.

Successes
-LSU pass game coordinator with 2 All Pro receivers, an All Pro QB and a 1st round RB.

-OC for Josh Allen and an already really good Bills team

Failures
-OC for Panthers who are terrible with a terrible QB


What in this resume says he’s an elite OC? What proves he’s deserving of a HC job? Also tell me what here says he’s awful at his job and doesn’t deserve to be an OC at the NFL level? Sometimes it has nothing to do with how good the coach is and just how good their players are.

I remember the passing coordinator BS that people really tried to sell.. I thought there was no way they could believe that and were full on trolling but they really tried to say it was Steve Ensminger just to try to discredit the phenom.. :ibis-roflmao-sm3:


Crazy to think Brady has had arguably a goat cfb offense and NFL offense.. impressive AF..

The Lions had a better offense this year. By almost 3 PPG. It wasn’t even close.

Not likely, I think it's one of those things of... do I go Jets? No Bills and Allen twice a year, Chicago has a bigger rebuild, NO you have no cap to rebuild it, Oakland you have a top pick but do you want in the Division behind KC, LA, and Denver? Jacksonville? Seems like they are all in on Ben Johnson

The offense was fine. Top 5 in 2022 and 2nd in EPA in 2023 before he got fired. Allen was turning it over too much and McDermott fired Dorsey to save his own job. Wins and losses aren’t coordinator stats.

No one said he sucked. He was pretty much universally won and as the OC when Mario took over. People were just bummed about Dorsey since Dorsey was putting up good numbers and was scapegoated.
 
I never said he sucked. I said he was a ***** and was too scared to come here because he’s a stupid annoying little *****. But I never said he sucked.
 
His route concepts and overall play designs are incredible to watch.

Coming from a bills hater as well. He’s the real deal

The reverse applies in that maybe Ken Dorsey isn't that great of an OC...
