Hope he stays a Cane, but if he flips it's not a big deal. When late fall rolls around, those that have de-committed may get left out. There are far too many good DBs to worry about one guy.

As fans, we get all worked up when a guy commits and says such wonderful things about the U. Then we go all crazy when they visit another school wearing their colors and saying nice things as well.

Fans are so invested that each commitment is like a marriage proposal. He said yes. We're engaged!!! What the **** is he still shopping around for when he professed his love to us?

I learned to take an early commitment as a "strong interest." When you look at it that way, you don't get all flaked out over the recruiting process.

These kids want to enjoy the recruiting process. They want to see other schools to compare so that they know they feel confident they made the right choice.

I just wish kids wouldn't commit until they really know.

FYI, per 247Sports, Nesta Silvera is visiting Florida this weekend. Are you guys worried?????

Miami Commit Visiting Florida This Weekend

I am being sarcastic!!! Not worried about Florida. Just stirring the pot for all those that make a big deal when a recruit takes a " non U" visit.

Losing talent like Jobe is a big deal. These type of talents make a world of a difference on this team. They win you championships.

Any other year, Yes. This year not so much because Florida is full of top talent at DB. Getting Jobe doesn't guarantee us anything and we will still have to battle FSU and Clemson for a clear party to the playoffs. You thinks teams are going to wave the white flag just because Jobe signs with us. We need Campbell though if we miss out on Jobe.

Are you ****ing kidding me?

If you want to beat the FSU's and Clemson's of the world you need the Jobe's. We have a better shot at Jobe than Campbell. Besides, Jobe would be stupid to go to Alabama. He wouldn't start in 2-3 years, which would make him an old rookie draft pick. At Miami, he goes pro in 2 or 3 years.

If we lost him then his talent is much more than every other commit we have, right? This is how fans feel but it doesn't mean it is a true or logical. Fans put too much emphasis on a talented kid who we lose even if we have plethora of similar or even better talents still committed to us.

Little known fact- that kid is actually 3 inches taller than Saban.

According to the 247 F$U board, Christian Tutt, a stud CB out of Georgia, stated that if he had to commit right now that it would be to Alabaga not F$U.

Apparently, the pitch being used by Baga is actually playing time as they are saying that their defensive backfield has left and they need guys to come in and play immediately. I'd think that they still have guys waiting in the wings but that's what I saw.

This is the only year I can remember in which we have so many DB's potentially in our stable that losing Jobe wouldn't be HORRIBLE. Just kinda $hitty.

Honestly . . . anyone ****ed off right now is simply butt hurt. If you happen to have info that he secretly committed to Mark Richt, and that he has secretly committed to Nick Saban, then yes you are justified in being butt hurt. Otherwise he is an open free agent . . .

I happen to have info that hes publicly committed to Mark Richt

LOL . . . But I mean he has really given his word he is coming and that he is just playing games . . . kind of secret commitment:)

Good God man, what the fūck are you talking about? You mean like a double secret commitment? Yeezus kraist, he already committed.
