I don't get the purpose of staying committed to a school when you are 50/50 or more leaning towards another. Just don't get it.

Just my opinion but I think it's because he's insecure. He needs the attention to pump up his fragile ego. He also doesn't want to quit the group of guys in Surge18 unless he has another group of guys to replace them.

jobe said that miami is not safe for him .. this is not about UM .... he is scared to go back to miami.... UNREAL .. dont want a player like him ... gables is one of the safest places plus I dont even think Jobe was involved in the street life anyway .. sound like an EXCUSE..

Honestly, if this kid can't feel like he will stay away from negative influences in Miami after attending Gulliver and then a prep school 1200 miles away, he isn't going to get away from it regardless of where he attends college.

With our secondary class, especially if we land Ty, I'm fine with whatever he decides. It is what it is.

I badly want Jobe. His talent is undeniable, and I think he would be a significant upgrade over our current Safeties - especially Redwine who really should be playing CB, not Safety.

Now with that out of the way, I have to say that I am honestly not losing sleep over this kid. Us taking that next step to the championship level will not be predicated on Jobe - or a Safety for that matter.

Our most glaring needs without question are filling both sides of our lines with bullies. Guys who can impose their will on opponents and take over games when needed. We need guys who can stand and look the other team's linemen in the face, tell them that they are going to get their a$$e$ kicked, and then proceed to completely kick their a$$e$. Just like Clemson did to us last night.

So if you tell me that we are iffy with Jobe but in serious play for a couple more DTs like Trout, Chatman, Goldwire and OL like Petit-Frere and others, then i will be more than happy.

I like him, but he just committed to Ole Miss. I know, I know, but he pulled that trigger after they hired their new HC and over some good other offers. Not sure he is in play for us, but I'm no insider.
