I don’t think he did it because he wanted to. By all accounts, Vinny is a good dude.
But I still wonder if he took a dive that game because he HAD to…or else. And the only reason I say that is that it was so bad that it looked like it was done on purpose. Especially the final INT of the game.
But, maybe he just had a really, really off night and was rusty and not right from the scooter accident.

He had all the tools. His arm talent was elite. He wasn’t the best at reading defenses and had an uneventful pro career. Winning the big games wasn’t his thing in college or the pro’s. Maybe he wasn’t as good as you think he was. Maybe we should have just run the ball and won the game. That loss was a team effort. The coaches and players are both culpable.
