Jimbo

Jimbo is like that guy who has the money to buy the best parts for his car, but can't drive for ****. Can't deny his recruiting success, but **** in SoFl ain't as easy as it used to be. He lost Jennings to us and Wright to bamer. He's still a pain down this way but less so now than the lizards.

Jimbo has proven to be a good coach and a good recruiter but how good is he really? It's not hard to recruit at FSU if you are competent. He inherited a pretty good situation, Bobby had just gotten old complacent but everything else regarding the program we still in great shape.

We'll know how good Jimbo is when he doesn't have a generational CFB QB and one of the best RB in the history of the school that turns routine plays into instant TDs.

Jimbo has underachieved with a lot of the other high end talent he's gotten. R. Greene, Rudolph, Lane and all the TEs they've gotten haven't developed into elite talent and he hasn't developed a ton of NFL players either.

Jimbo does a good job of winning signing day but his bust rate seems to be pretty high.

Isn't that kinda the point? He's recruiting well so he's got those kind of players which makes him look like a better coach. You make it sound like he won with somebody else's recruits.

Averages 3 losses per year whenever Winston is not his QB. Sounds more like an underachiever to me.

Mack Brown won his only national championship with Vince Young as his QB and looked like he was real smart while he was doing it. Afterward he looked like an average head coach.

Jimbo has been lucky enough to capitalize off of Miami and UF being down. How many more losses would Jimbo have if Miami chose Cook over Yearby?

1 National Championship despite a string of some of the highest ranked recruiting classes in the country. Three losses this year (should have been four) with a roster full of 5*s. Not exactly killing it.

Wouldnt mind Jumbro at Miami. Hate on him all you want but I remember when people where saying golden was a better corch than him. We still haven't beat FSU since he's been head corch. Think about that.

Glad a nole fan could give us his thoughts.

Besides a couple years when Bowden was over the hill, the schools been a recruiting monster. I wonder if a coach will ever recruit poorly there.

Look at Bama and Nick Saban he's won mad titles without a single great QB. The sum of the parts is greater than any of the individual parts.

We will learn a lot of Jimbo when he doesn't have 2 of the greatest players in school history on his teams and he needs production from all the players he's recruited.

Broken record.
I realize you're a nole mole, but you should consider freshening up your schtick.

But it's still recruiting. They both have great athletes at every position with bama's talent being better overall. Jimbo has madeup for that with a great QB and RB. It's not like saban is doing more with less, he's doing more with more.

Either way, they both rely on recruiting stars.

You can see why Skynet dropped cyberdyne system TP801. It is a horrible system in trying to convince others that it isn't a troll.

The only thing he's killing is an old fashioned alone at the bar while the picture of his wife cucking him haunts his brain.
