Jimbo picked the recruits, managed the practices, and handled game day. Bobby didn't even know the names of half of his players. Jimbo and his agent were adamant about having control over the direction of the program while he was the coach in waiting. I love Bobby personally, but he was on honorary status at that point.

I was alive for two. and that's the point. these recruits were born in 1995 and 1996. they were 5 and 6 when we were relevant. show me a 5 or 6 year-old that is religiously watching college football. you know when we're going to become relevant again? when we forget the past and the way things were done, and make a new way. play like alabama and florida state do. LOCK DOWN RECRUITS. not the clowning around we do now. it's sad to get our **** pushed in 41-14 to fsu. that's not little brother, that's big brother.
