I said it before last season. That staff is dysfunctional and can’t stand each other.
But it didn’t matter cause they bought there way out of it.
Rumors are he won’t be the only departure from that staff. But they’ll recover cause it’s a fountain of money being spent up there.
Idk how sustainable that will be, but it worked for them this year.

probably the most well funded state university in the country but they will pretend to be an underdog lol

He's from Philadelphia while that might be in the same state i doubt he considers state college home. Plus his family is still in Oklahoma. Sounds to me he didn't get along with Ryan Day from the outside looking in.

Oh good lord, we've got someone trying to explain the difference between Philadelphia and State College.

Look, the vast majority of his career, SINCE 1988, has been spent in New York, Michigan, and (northern) North Carolina. He's got a region of the country where he prefers to live.

Whether he likes Ryan Day or not, he spent two years in Columbus and was negotiating an extension that simply never included enough money. A university in his home state offered that money.

I'm sure he now has enough money to move his family out of Oklahoma, where he spent a mere 4 years of his 36-year coaching career.
 
They're already apoplectic.
