I don't know why the big wigs at WF would feel that way. WF and Duke are very similar in that they run cycles of winning. Wake's year was in 2006 when they won the ACCCG and went to a BCS bowl game. Duke's year seem to be this year. (I seriously doubt they beat FSU, but they managed to still win 10 games). Duke is having success this year and yes, they do have Cutcliffe as their coach, but who's to say that they will not slip back into mediocrity.
