I know the drill, I just wasn't aware that bama stopped contacting him until today. Them dropping him doesn't mean anything to me, we need DBs and he looks like a good one.

Yes but. It also matters when he was "dropped". Saban has a rep for forcing a lot of recruits to hard commit and shut it down.

If they stopped talks my to him after he started looking at Miami, then the white or Bama dropped him first theory isn't entirely true.

***king hilarious. If we didn't land this kid, Richt would have been crucified, and Dean would be considered the second coming of Patrick Peterson that we let slip away.

Geez. For several months we have known Bama no longer had interest in a Juco w what they have/and are getting to develope for four years. If he decides on us will be a real good get

Whether he's a starter or not, he adds depth that we are going to need! I expect we get Edwards this cycle as well, so Dean, Bandy, Edwards added along with our returners adds some nice choices at DB. Special teams is definitely upgraded if anything!

Silly would be the only way to describe any Cane fan with a negative reaction to landing Dean. Edwards, Bandy and Dean would give us an ELITE haul at CB. These knuckleheads need to understand that not all top DB's go to, play for or get recruited by bamer. Dean is key to "our" class even if he's not for bamer. ***** bamer they'd be average if they had to rely on alabama boys.
