Jeudy survey

Huge miss.... Same goes for Leatherwood.... Both are the best in the country at their positions and we need both of them. He'd be a starter from Day 1 here, both would.

Jeudy is more talented than any receiver on the roster right now, so it would huge miss.

Also, Every elite program brings in elite talent regardless of who is on the roster presently. Never know how injuries, transfers or players not playing up to there potential will work out.

Wouldn't actually say that.

Would Jeudy be a big miss knowing when he gets here we will have Soph...Cager, Richards, Mullins, Bruce, SRs Berrios, Harris, Langham? What is your opinion...

Miss in terms of location, but from overall standpoint depends on what's in his place. Say we pull Smith and the high profile Georgia WR, then it's not a huge miss on roster, but still stings based off of location.

Then i must be wrong...cause i don't see it...snd everybody else does...So i will take being wrong...watching him at the camp o wasn't awed...Pope impressed me...Juedy caught alot of balls...but they were balls he was supposed to catch...Pope on the other hand..was catching balls that should have been anything other than a reception ie int..overthrown..underthrown

And the top ten ranking by 247 is a crock...the top performers are always in the same order as their rankings...regardless

A lot of you guys are talking out your @ss. If UM starts out strong and could beat FSU I bet we will be in the running Jeudy. Anyone else claiming anything more definitive is a **** liar.

Leatherwood is from Pensacola FL, which is 5 times closer to Alabamas campus than Miami's.

Fools....

Perception wise of course it will be a miss since anytime you let a kid out of your backyard that is the easy narrative. Also, given our positional depth, unless we are bringing in other top guys it hurts too.

But now here is the reality. Let's just say Jeudy and the issues with the GF are legit. We all **** well know that if she needs to be taken care of, Bama will do that and we will likely not. Now if she is tied to staying here, etc. then is a plus for us, but there are things that are beyond a coaches control sometimes.

Easy answer is that Jeudy going to Bama would be a slap in the face since he's the top WR from SoFl. The top receiver from anywhere in alabama would never come to The U. From watching a few minutes of his periscope thing he seemed unwilling to share the spotlight and self centered (look I don't know the kid). Bama being bama and his bud up there telling him- they together could dominate and win another championship is too powerful to overcome for a dude not loyal to The U. I'm sure he's all bama and has never given any indication he's seriously considering Miami. Our day coming. There are lots of good WR's that can and will show up big time like he can.

I wasn't there, but I do know that as good as any recruit or existing player is, there are always guys on the other side equal to the challenge. Meaning Richards can have just as much impact as Jeudy. I agree with your statement re Pope, maybe better. Losing another top WR Pope in 2018 to Bama would be devastating. I would tell the staff like I would tell my son, "stop running behind a Btch that don't want you!". If we can get Pope, Wiggins and X. Williams for 2018 then forget Jeudy.

Short term, I don't think it will effect us in a negative way all that much. But we can't get in to the routine of letting Saban come down here and hand pick elite WR's. Saban snagging Cooper and then Ridley are the main reasons why Jeudy is leaning towards them. This Bama - South Florida pipeline must end.

I agree 100%

Pope should be our # 1 receiver target for 2018. Top WR in South Florida and we will have 2 years to work this kid good. No excuses.

3 guys for 1?? That says a lot about this Jeudy kid... I'm from Jersey, why is Miami having difficulty pulling these recruits in? Especially from their own backyard!! Besides$$$$$$$$

It takes more than one player. It takes a collective of talent on Jeudy's level to win.

Cooper and Ridley didn't get Bama their championships alone. They certainly helped, but they were part of a larger collection of blue chips.
Dalvin ain't winning championships at FSU (and probably helped cost them a shot to another Championship Game). Matter fact, as beastly as he is, he's never won a bowl game. Collins? Keef? Michel? Valentine? The other misses? They not propelling their squads to the next level on their own (or at all even).

But imagine them on the same team, though? That's where our problem has been. That's the difference between us and the current elites. Look at what LSU did with their DT class and what Bama does with their DB class every year. Dudes were straight up turning down immediate playing time at other schools to sit the bench on those squads. In essence, those schools hit on the majority of their targets. They don't really have many Plan B's. They get their guys and secure their backyards/hunting grounds.

With that said, it may take a collective of elites to win, sometimes, all it takes is one elite to change the minds of a collective. Jeudy or (long shot) a Leatherwood could be that guy. They commit to us, I guarantee a whole lot of other recruits will start giving us a serious look this cycle and beyond. Jeudy's commitment is more important in terms of making a statement about the state of the program, as opposed to his importance on the field.
