Jesiah Pierre

Rian Davis is admittedly the #1 Mike on my list for 2019 with Pierre #2.

That said and credit to the staff, we cannot get caught with our d*cks in our hands like last year by putting all of our eggs into the Jobe basket and missing out on quality guys like A. Samuel.

No matter what the staff says about the LB cap for 2019, Davis is a guy you make room for no matter what if he’s willing to come onboard.

But to f*ck around and lose a kid like Pierre hoping and praying that Davis will commit is dumb.

Hold onto Pierre and play the long game with Davis with zero pressure.

Weaving through these LB threads, you have a good percentage of posters who like Pierre as their favorite LB, a strong % who like Huff as the favorite, and a lot of us who like Brooks as the favorite.

That speaks to the quality of these LB's. No one is talking about these guys not being a take. Not to mention, Solomon, who is a beast in his own right. These are arguably the top LB's in the state and they are all committed to The U.

To paraphrase @Liberty City El, lol at everyone who s'hitted on Diaz for only taking one LB last cycle.

If he goes get Eaford or Rian Davis for the middle
**** Eaford.

We already have Sam Brooks as a guy with no experience playing LB, we don’t need a kid who said “I wouldn’t go to Miami if they paid me”.

Oh and **** Deerfield!

I hate bringing in guys to play LB that have only rushed the passer as a DE, they never work out here, so only one this cycle please.

Oh and Eaford at MLB is laughable.

A guy with no instincts to play LB is going to play in the middle?

Sorry but nobody is projecting Eaford as a MLB.

An OLB in a 3-4, yes, but definitely not a 4-3 MLB.

Playing MLB has more to do with instincts, reaction time, and ability to shed blocks than size.

The best MLBs here have come in no bigger than 205 lbs (Lewis, Vilma, Spence, Morgan, Perryman etc...).

Shaq has size, but it is his instincts that make him a great MLB.

Rain Davis should still be recruited, but he projects to WDE more than OLB, and I don’t see him as a MLB.

Again everyone thinks b/c a LB is big, he is a MLB, and that is wrong.

Pierre is the best MLB in the state and we are lucky to have him (he also happens to have the size that everyone here loves at MLB).

His film is great, comp sucks, but all he can do is ball out against his comp and he does.

Watch Pierre in his film, not the comp.

He has elite instincts and reaction and has great speed for his already college ready build.

I also love kids that are used to scoring TDs on offense play defense b/c they know how to find the end zone when they get a turnover.

Pierre is built like a manchild already which is why I like him. He will look like an upperclassmen after one summer under Felder. Gotta love Rian Davis too but he is icing on the cake.

Pierre is very good. He will be a 4 star, top 10 LB by the end of the season. As everyone has said, hes already physically ready. I think hes going to be a leader and very good at LB for us.

Just listened to the interview and he doesn't sound like he is going anywhere.

He supposedly was one of the first guys to reach out to Huff and welcome him.

Sounds like a great kid who is going to work hard.

Blue: "What do you think you need to work on the most this off season?"

Pierre: "Everything"
Didn't listen, but glad to hear he doesn't sound like he's leaving. Need to make sure we keep him and Renato Brown. We set at LB with current commits.
