I actually just asked a friend who has family boosters for Alabama (I live in Bama) and he said Kiffin hasn't even been recruiting since the season started for them. Said Kiffin has zero impact on his decision. The plan for Saban was to move Sark into the OC role next season either way. Sark has supposedly fallen off the wagon again with drinking so not sure how this plays out for Kiffin and Bama. Relationship between him and Saban have been on the rocks for awhile now. It is still likely Kiffin ends up at LSU as their OC.

CMR to JJ: Jerry, you know that Mario Cristobal chose UM over Alabama when he was a player, and you should do the same thing.

They way he moved up his announcement seemed unexpected. Maybe something to do with the other receiver committing and bama telling him he better hurry up or were moving on. Nobody likes to be rushed or told what to do only to then be told "now you can't visit anyone". I think Saban is becoming a double edged sword. People want to either go or not go to bama because of him. looks like LK can't wait to get the **** out of there after getting his **** chewed all season long on national tv. Maybe JJ has seen the light.

Not an insider at all, but Kiffin being at Bama (likely won't be there given media reports) or LSU as an OC would factor assumingly in the Devonta Smith recruitment. I trust Tweed@ on this given he's called everything before it's happening.
