IMO still a long shot here, but with this visit the gap will close.

Would be a MONUMENTAL recruiting win for this Staff!

All I wanted was to be in the race on the back stretch with a chance to close. If the lead is insurmountable, I get it. But if we can hawk Alabama down and take the best WR in the country from them - oh boy. We have a serious chance at being back

JJ is the kind of elite talent that can impact every school who comes here. A year after you take Richards away from Bama and now this year you take an ELITE talent who's committed to Bama and get him down the stretch when Bama wants him badly. That tells every school and every local recruit we're here to stay while making the local kids want to stay home, want to put on for their home and want to get back to dominance. This is the biggest recruitment maybe in years

so.. I haven't watched one clip of jeudy because I assumed we had no shot. how good is this kid? who does he compare to?

Jerry Rice with a better 40 time.

WAY better 40. Better route running, too.

Did you just say a high school kid has better route running than Jerry Rice.....

Seriously? Sense the sarcasm... Good lord.

Same thing when I said McFarland was faster and more elusive than Dalvin Cook. IT'S A JOKE.

Unconfirmed but rumors out there that Jeudy is already on his second cookie cake of the morning. A flip could be imminent.

I'll change my name to Cuck4Life05 if this kid signs here,

Type of flip that would make the whole recruiting world take notice.

Kids are so interested in what's cool and following along, this type of flip would have a huge ripple effect.

Are we flying a banner for this kid while he's on campus? Can we have him accidentally bump into Dre, Santana, or MI while he's touring the facilities?
Two cookie cakes instead of one? What needs to be done to keep this stud home?

The only way Bama can come and see JJ during the dead period is if he signed the Grand In Aid form that allows for unlimited contact through the dead period. He can also sign one with us as well and we could continue to recuit him thru the dead period.

However "Dead period" only refers to face to face or on campus visits. You can call, text, twitter, FB, all of that during the dead period. If he signs an aid agreement with us then it's going to really get interesting down the stretch.
Tweed -- Has JJ signed the grant in aid agreement with BAMA?

I wonder if Jerry realizes just how important of a cog he could be to returning his home team to glory. He's the type of guy and the type of flip from the king of college football that could legitimize the entire operation down here and put us back on the national map.

Step up for your community, big fella! Be a local hero! Don't go dance for a bunch of redneck racist fcks who would assume you were a trouble maker if they saw you in their neighborhood and didn't know you were a Bama player.

He knows. He mentioned recently that someone tweeted to him to go to Bama because the "people love you there, Jerry" and he tweeted back "They don't love me, they love my future." This kid is smart. He can see through their shît.

Couple things to know if you're not sure:

Jeudy IS an EE.

This is the last weekend for OVs before Monday's dead period, which means if he's taking an OV this weekend it will be his last.

He's already taken an OV to Bama

He has to send in his Financial Aid agreement in ASAP if he's ready to enroll early.

I think the odds of him coming are low, but pray that Mark Richt connects with his mother and him. You never know

Rusty Pelican firing up the grill! Maybe they should eat at Joe's for this special visitor.

Tweed delivers - nice work. Hope that your budding track star is still doing her thing

Keep in mind this is a Miami message board. Most posters have one hand on the keyboard and the other hand holding a nostril closed, head bent forward.

JJ has good speed (4.5ish)
JJ has great quicks and will get separation on just about any CB at the last second
JJ has great hands
JJ has good ups and more importantly has great timing for his jumps

His separation is second to none.

Agree. At least for someone his size it is second to none. I can think of some smaller kids (Harley, Bruce types) that can get separation similar to him but don't have the size to handle physical CBs. Let me correct the statement: JJ has great quicks and can get separation against the best CBs even if it happens at the last second. He isn't going to run away from a McFadden but he will get separation due to his quicks.

JJ
AR
Harley
Njoku
Mullens

That would be as close to a homerun as you could get in two years. Grandslam would be adding D Smith.

Unless CMR can get him to shut it down, 'Bama still has the final visit...obviously a great sign that he's on campus, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up until the fax arrives on NSD.
My understanding is he's an EE. Is that not the case?

It is the case and dead period starts Monday. This is the last contact he will have in recruiting. HUGE pull getting him to campus this weekend.
