Guys, there will be nothing new coming from me on this.

He saw Miami yesterday & 'Bama.

That amount of time is irrelevant, what they ate is irrelevant, & what they did is irrelevant.

Don't expect some HUGE announcement with doves flying out of a limo or some BS like that, because he is not that type of kid.

He has a strong support system that will not lead him in the wrong direction for ANY reason at all. (This system does not include pro-gator Glen)

If he sticks with 'Bama that's where they feel he will do best at. If he flips to Miami that's where they feel he will do best at.

We presented our "pitch" to him and now we just wait and see where the young man and his support system feel most comfortable.

I hope his "strong support system" paid close attention to that offense over at Bama last year. Costing Ridley lots and lots of money.

Debatable. Ridley has had better stats through his first 2 seasons at bama than Cooper did in the same period. Cooper had a monster JR year.

Ridley made his name with his FR season. Deep ball after deep ball. Hurts and Kiffin's offense this year looked nothing like last year's offense. Kid caught 40 bubble screens this year. Cooper had a monster 3 years there.

Cooper first 2 years receptions: 104
Ridley first 2 years receptions (so far): 155

Cooper 104 rec 1736 yards 15 tds in 25 games
Ridley 155 rec 1779 yards 14 tds in 28 games

Hurts throws the ball a lot but he doesn't throw down field as well as McCarron or Coker did, also I don't think Ridley is nearly as good as Cooper.

Don't get me wrong - I think Cooper was the much better WR in college. Not debating that.

what I am pointing out is that there's this fallacy that Ridley barely gets used in their offense and his reception totals tell a different story.

When alabama does go pass, Ridley's their number one receiver

I was just pointing out that I didn't think Ridley had the much better seasons in his first 2 than Cooper did. Cooper will have played in most likely 5 less games by the time the year is over, and still put up similar numbers to Ridley.

you are dense huh. no one is saying he barely gets used. he gets used all the time. as a glorified running back catching 5 bubble screens a game.

2015:

2016:
66-727-7

Ridley's stats will be right around where they were as Bama has at least 1 game left, most likely two as I see them in the title game. Right now who else is Bama going to throw the ball to that's in the elite category like Ridley? They're getting a rather large influx of talent coming in soon. Ridley's got enough game film to where NFL scouts know what they're getting with him. All of these other guys going into Bama are going to have to share the ball with a mediocre QB.

was his mom on the visit? Or anyone from his "support system"?

Cooper may have had a monster junior season, but make no mistake about it, his name got out there as a freshman as well. That kid made bigtime plays as a freshman. He was playing injured his sophomore season. If not for that, he'd have had way more yards and TD's. He missed a couple of games due to injury that year.
