Guys, there will be nothing new coming from me on this.
He saw Miami yesterday & 'Bama.
That amount of time is irrelevant, what they ate is irrelevant, & what they did is irrelevant.
Don't expect some HUGE announcement with doves flying out of a limo or some BS like that, because he is not that type of kid.
He has a strong support system that will not lead him in the wrong direction for ANY reason at all. (This system does not include pro-gator Glen)
If he sticks with 'Bama that's where they feel he will do best at. If he flips to Miami that's where they feel he will do best at.
We presented our "pitch" to him and now we just wait and see where the young man and his support system feel most comfortable.
I hope his "strong support system" paid close attention to that offense over at Bama last year. Costing Ridley lots and lots of money.
Debatable. Ridley has had better stats through his first 2 seasons at bama than Cooper did in the same period. Cooper had a monster JR year.
Ridley made his name with his FR season. Deep ball after deep ball. Hurts and Kiffin's offense this year looked nothing like last year's offense. Kid caught 40 bubble screens this year. Cooper had a monster 3 years there.
Cooper first 2 years receptions: 104
Ridley first 2 years receptions (so far): 155
Cooper 104 rec 1736 yards 15 tds in 25 games
Ridley 155 rec 1779 yards 14 tds in 28 games
Hurts throws the ball a lot but he doesn't throw down field as well as McCarron or Coker did, also I don't think Ridley is nearly as good as Cooper.
