........or maybe, just maybe, that so called coach is just saying that BS to keep the Bama heat off Jeudy and JJ plans to line up opposite AR82 next season.

This was my impression.

The coach may care very much for JJ, and knowing the suffering and stress the family, including JJ has been through - and continues to go through - was deflecting a situation certain to add additional stress on JJ, as he considers his options.

Think about it. That coach couldn't be that misled - that mistaken - and that wrong. His coach knew what JJ was considering, and was trying to deflect more pressure from Alabama - and help the young man to make a decision more in line with his personal needs.

Note he wasn't trying to push UF, he was trying to assure Bama folks that there was nothing there - even to this moment.

Not every look is a man's target. Sometimes it's for misdirection purposes.

Less likely but could be true. Could be that tweed knows this and is why he keeps deflecting on the coach talk. The coach is definitely making **** up, but we don't know for sure that he is actually telling the kid to go to bama. Now just have to wait and see what unfolds.

I don't buy it.

I don't think the coach is flat-out lying about speaking with Jeudy (though it's a possibility), but I think Jeudy could be telling him he's still with Bama to keep the wolves at bay. The question is: is the coach in the inner circle, or is he one of the wolves himself?

Tweed has told us numerous times the coach isn't involved in the recruitment, so I'm trusting in that.

Bama isn't dumb. They know if this kid is/isn't visiting, irrespective of what the coach says.

I feel like the coach's quotes are a clarion call to Bama that he did his part and he's still open for business.

Just my 2 cents, but the fact that mom didn't take the trip makes me think that she's already made it known what her preference is. Sounds like it's a true coin flip and maybe it's just optimistic but I think we get this one. I can see how a few months ago Alabama looks like the better business decision - follow in Cooper/Ridley's footsteps, win a couple championships, Heisman hype, lose no more than 2 or 3 times in your career, first round pick, etc.

But here we are a few months later and Alabama is a running offense, Richards has a huge freshman year year, Coley's starting spot is open as he (and possibly Njoku) are bound for one of the first couple days of the draft, family maybe trying to convince him to stay home, and someone orchestrating this visit secretly and playing the dead period rules perfectly. Unless he's developed an unbelievable personal relationship with someone at Bama I think there's just too much trending our way.

Miami insiders are saying Jerry Jeudy is flipping to Miami

I don't want to get my hopes high buttttttt... :U5PyXda:

So an Alabama poster got a text from Miami insiders but not Tweed or Pete. OK.....

He can be Mr. Gator 2016 and still be looking for that grease from Bama. Bags don't have any affiliation. This dude sounds awfully invested in Jerry sticking with the team that just destroyed his supposedly beloved Gators last week and showed him how far ahead of UF that Bama is.

I don't know if he's on bag watch, but neither does anyone else. I am, however, a master of reading peoples' actions, and his actions are sketchy as ****. He's going way too hard to sabotage the UM visit to just be some random gator fan. Bama poses a much bigger threat to UF than UM does being in the same conference.

I'm on the same boat as you. What absolutely shocks me is how pro-Bama he is despite being a coach that's apparently "super close" to Jerry. If he's that close, shouldn't he be understanding of the situation with his family and his mother? Why would that man try so hard to send him away to TusKKKaloosa? One clear answer:

Bags.

There's a Category 5 Bag Alert in Broward County right now after this visit. There will be a ton of scrambling by Alabama to undo all the work Rick and Co. just put in. If you're in the Deerfield area, keep your head on a swivel because heavy bags will be flying.

I'd be shocked if Mario isn't on his front door step. Does anyone know when Bama went in home with him this week?

Also Pete Ariz, how does the visits per week work? Is it 7 calendar days from when you visit a prospect or does the week start on Sunday/Monday so in theory you can see a recruit on wednesday and then again on Sunday cause the week starts over?

Already did in home but Billy Napier is supposed to be there today.

If Billy Napier can be there today and see him in person then our whole staff outside of CMR can do the same. That's my question when does the "week" reset for in homes. Assistant coaches can literally go every week, bet Brown see McFarland again tonight.

Rumph was on the inhome with CMR and Dugans. I wonder if they are selling CB and WR. A true two way threat? I mean look at his tape and you see he can cleary do both at a very high level. Point being if Napier can see JJ tonight then we can too.

I'm sure if you peel back the layers, you'll find that Glenn is good buddies with the other greaseball, genron.

Correct, assistant coaches can but not Richt. I definitely hope the donk pulls up just as Napier is leaving and Dugans pimp slaps him.
Not sure about the visit week schedule but the dead period begins tonight at midnight.

Don't forget the glaring deficit of crank shots

Hoping when Pete drops that 'Work' we find out JJ signed the financial aid paperwork. If he signs it, he wants to keep hearing from UM (f*cking breaking news) but if he doesn't I think it's obviously over.

Unless of course he wants to shock the entire recruiting industry with a public FACK you to Bama at the all-star game.
