FSU played a 4-2-5 last year, COMPLETELY different type of defense/philosophies than we run.Terrance Smith, Talvin Smith and Matt Thomas all play/ed under 215 lb. And in this scheme, there should be no such thing as an uncovered guard. Now whether it works is a completely different story.
I agree 100% he made a big jump in the spring. You can tell he learned alot last year. He needs more of a mean streak but he will be solid.I think Armbrister is decent actually. I think he will be solid this year after getting a lot of PT last year. Is he what we should expect at Miami? Prob not but I think he's capable.

I don't feel Grace will ever really fit this scheme and hope Golden and company remember when they said think players then plays. Kid is a 4-3OLB all day and can be a **** of a play maker there.
Certainly not with this kid. He is max effort, max dedicationEffort has nothing to do with weight.....
Don't know what happened to the Armbrister that suited up against UiF but you could say the same about everyone on defense. He's big, runs well, hits hard......just not sure how he fell off so fast after that game.I think Armbrister is decent actually. Skai Moore played at 210 last year. He was pretty good.
Some people over rate size on this board way too much. In college football size alone does not determine good players. Enough already.
We don't need him to be anything except for productive. Spence was a beast at like 195. Ditto Rohan Marley. Perryman was what, 210? He was pretty **** good. How much did Vilma weigh when he broke into the lineup?
WHOA WHO! Finally a shout out to Rohan on one of these threads. He may have not been the best but he played all out and had a big heart!
