Jeremiah Smith

OSU people I know are very ho-hum about him it really puts things in perspective

We sit here and talk about him in this longing desperate way and they are so used to stacking elite talent they’re like “yeah he looks good just like the last 100 guys we’ve brought in”

We need to get to that level

I didn’t see the “generational” type talk with him when I watched but I’m interested to see how Howard plays at OSU and if Day/Kelly can fix that offense that’s been covered up
Exactly right. Alabama and the Taint are just turnstiles for this kind of ****. Some are grand slams, some are doubles and some are strike outs, whatever..…spoiled, spoiled, spoiled….would love to have that problem.

Your opinion but I root for Canes players, not players from the Miami area that went to another school to help that teams athletic team get better and not the team where they grew up, especially *. You sound like a Cucknut fan, err, I mean a Bucknut fan.
To be clear, I agree with you and was calling the dude you were responding to cuck-like behavior

“He was a baller in Miami in HS so I hope he balls out for O$U” 🤮

FOH with that ****

I think Miami would have won the National Title had Smith signed with Miami this season.

Smith is elite. But I don't think the marginal difference between him and our receivers makes or breaks this team. Our receivers are good enough and our offense overall is strong enough to make a run. It's still the defense where we have question marks.

An elite big body WR with Cam Ward throwing him the ball is unstoppable.

If you were playing say a UGA team in playoffs they couldnt defend that even with an elite secondary.

We have a good WR group, probably top 10 in America, but Smith would make Miami #1.

Good enough to win ACC yes, but when you start playing teams with ELITE DBs, you need a transcendent talent that can make even the best look silly. Watch a guy like Andre cook DBs in big games..

Its levels to this, some are looking at how we match up against a UGA or Bama.. You need ELITE superstars to matchup and create separation..

I know everyone here likes to protect their hearts with the "let it go, he's gone and never coming back, but the kid is from here, we have a ton of his teammates on the team, our offense is the ****, we lose our top 3 WRs this year and ... we have money to spend on elite talent. I think there's a decent chance he comes back next year

I'd say that depends on the QB situation next year. Both teams are losing their starters. Ohio State already has Sayin and Noland on the roster so Jeremiah will have a good idea of what's coming (that could be good or bad). Question is do we have next year's starter on the roster already (Emory or Poff) or will we need to go portal again?

If we have another Cam Ward situation, I could see him transferring.
