Can we please not do this again. I am no fan of the folks who rag on insiders that give us information, but you're also kind of inviting it with this. I hope we get JJ, we need him, but let's learn some lessons from whale season and let it just play out.

I'm not here for approval, just sharing my thoughts. So, about what I said on the recruitment tactics - it's like a chess game, right? Looks like a smart move kept in the back pocket, waiting for the right time to play it. No insider info here, just calling it as I see it. Let's wait and see how it pans out.

Sorry but you know when people post the Here We Go, the implication is a flip will follow. I hope it will, but after whale season this summer, let's just let it play out.

That’s news to me. Lol That wasn’t my intention at all. Things are getting interesting, though. Hence, “here we go.”

Either way, our WR class may be the best we have had in over a decade. Miss me on the whale talk.

Offering bailey is akin to a checkers move when you have the entire board lined up and you're queened up and everyone is telling you how you can win the game with one move yet you're thinking about moving a non- queen piece one space.

The whale talk is no criticism of you or others that bring information here, but playing naïve is kind of bull****. It is on the staff's ability to read recruits. And perhaps they should have kept things with a more quiet confidence. But you and others were beating that drum on here. I hope Smith ends differently, but again, stop building up some narrative that more likely than not will not end up with him signing with Miami.

Maybe it was a good knight reference?

Sir, I believe you are mixing chess and checkers metaphors…

And if intended, bravo!

I'm just being realistic. I appreciate all of the info, but you need to be rooted in reality with it. And the source of that info, the staff, has clearly struggled to read many high profile recruitments this year. It's setting people up for disappointment with a WR class that is really, really good outside of Smith joining.

If a high school athlete is actually interested in going to a university with an EXTENSIVE documented history of pedos and se xual abuse (professors and school administrators lined up in the locker room waiting to take showers with the athletes is just scratching the surface) that raises a lot of questions about the athlete.
