In all seriousness who has lane gotten drafted at WR? Lol

Or is he claiming AJ brown and DK as his own?! lol
Saban recruited his guys I believe not him. That’s like osu they say they develop what happened before this little we run? They didn’t develop they LANDED but this narrative keeps getting brought up. Basically brain washing the kids to leave like they can’t do it on their own somewhere else. The uniform don’t make you, you do. You yourself makes it happen and scouts will see it on film.

Moore always had it he was a bad eval for most. We were screaming for the staff to get him. He ain’t develop sh Moore was a stud already coming out of STA and everyone knew. But our staff
You forgot Lane was at Bama too. So while you might know he wasn’t coaching them guys hands on, you know these high school kids aren’t look as deep

I agree he was at bama but that’s a product of Saban landing Juedy Smith etc. those guys were going to be studs regardless. Freeze I believe landed AJ Brown who was a stud already it’s why their classes were rated high when he was there. Before they stepped a foot on campus everyone knew those guys were legit, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell them to catch it and run and make plays.

There is nothing new under the sun those kids would of got taught the same things that would make them great anywhere. Just like Rueben Bain you put him at Rutgers he will eat regardless. It’s about the players always has been always will be. Unless you telling Bain to go into coverage like dorito then u have an argument. But he’s rushing the qb anywhere he goes and he’s getting there. You put that boy in the pac 12 he would eat those OLineman alive. And low key the ACC isn’t even a bad conference as a whole talent wise anymore. Duke us fsu Clemson unc UL the teams are actually aight. But it’s imprinted in our minds by espn and everyone else that it sucks only the SEC matters bs propaganda

Recruits aren’t thinking as deep as you. Doesn’t matter if Calvin Ridley was going to league even if he went to App State, coaches use being the coordinator or position coaches of guys that go the NFL. They know kids will eat it and that’s all that matters

It is all about landing enough near elite to elite kids to increase the chances of having kids “develop” across the board. If you don’t have enough, there isn’t enough pressure to get all of them to max out. This isn’t just about one room as a WR goes against a CB every practice. Gotta have elite or elite traits as deep as we can get to get the most out of everyone.

Yea the kids eat it up cause of that development word gets thrown around way too much. They should believe in their skill that’s what got them there. You right they probably don’t look at it like me cause they read this all the time. And the coaches know they are a sucker for that word.

The one thing that they benefit from I will agree on that is practicing vs the best. Who those wrs practicing on at OSU cause I don’t think they got any good dbs in the league reppin. Except past Meyer kids maybe, but ole miss who Chance going up against? A team that be giving up 50 all day?

Our problem we just can’t throw it cause of a certain individual and I hope they know that without Mario having to tell them that. I know MC is a players coach and I just can’t see him saying yo my qb sucks. He can say that without saying it I’m sure he’s a smart recruiter and charismatic enough. Uphill battle for us as a program but we have to wait. What more can we do? 🤷

Bro don’t be a hater, it’s ok to dislike a guy. Take off the Cane shades, He’s a good Coach. Does a natty at Ole **** only qualify him as having an Official Offensive mind? Gtfo! If Moore would have come to Miami he would’ve been Mark Pope or Jeff Thomas! FACTS!!!

There is a clip of Ole Miss OL slamming Shamar Stewart and sitting on him. Point is, i remember the tears and crying when we lost out on him. No one recruit can make or breaks your class if you dont have the rest. Thats why u go get Ny Carr and add to Jo Jo and Chance.

Keep getting better keep recruiting better, its like turning a ship. Slow af, but u stay the course, it does.
Well said.

Am I missing something?

Dont we applaud coaches based on who they coached and got drafted?

A coaches job is to showcase whatever talent a recruit has.

When we talk about hiring guys, isn't the draft picks that played under them a selling point or at least talking point on why they should or did get the job?

Now some want to dismiss that? Why? Say we got Smith, of course he's a stud and likely NFL'er. Are we not going to use that as ammo for the next stud we want?

People are weird here sometimes.

I’m still waiting for an example of a 3 star wide receiver that OSU turned into a first or second rounder.

That’s possible what you are saying yes it is. But still the combine would see what they see and he would get drafted regardless is what I’m saying. Yes stats can get you drafted but stats ain’t everything. Maybe I am hating though when I read your post I’m like hmmm maybe. I think he’s a good coach…..elite? Nah

Super offensive mind though.

100%. Anyone laughing about Chance flipping, or JSmith throwing shade on us can **** their own face.
No matter how bad our coaches have been I was never cool with that. I root for the logo not the individual. The logo comes before anything imo. Special circumstances like us not pouring money into the program etc. then you can complain

Problem is nowadays people are more fans of players then the logo. I see young heads having like 4 different teams they like or they follow a specific player wherever they go. I can’t do that
