Andre Johnson sat the bench as a freshman. He was physically more talented than Moss or Wayne but those guys were proven commodities. I'm not saying the guys we have are Moss and Wayne nor am I saying Smith is Andre Johnson but it's not a given that an elite WR recruit immediately grabs a starting spot over proven veterans.
They won't start if the guys in front of them are putting up serious numbers. They would get in nowadays but to start would be tough. If production is great in front of them they won't start. Even if those guys are less talented so I agree.

Jacolby is balling, the kid could have let that sh** stank all game long. Next play mentality is often overlooked. There will be a year where we have a KR & PR specialist only. There are still depth issues. I often think about if Chris Johnson can be a weapon there. Maybe he's not reliable yet or he is in training.
To me with CJ it's got to be frame. I don't think they want him to get destroyed back there tbh. Maybe it's not that who knows but that's the one thing he lacks. I don't think he can put on much either, I would of tried him though already on PR and KR him and Ray Ray.

Kool aid is hearing shyyt from practice and hyping them up. Kool aid is thinking high schoolers are going to automatically come in and be great.

Man roasting talented college DBs for 3 TDs is not kool aid. F outa here. Thats called production. When the last time a Miami WR had 3 TDs, when last v a FBS team, when last v a power 5 team and when last v a SEC team.
Kool Aid is saying he “roasted” those DBs. The first TD the talented defender fell down. The second TD was all Dawson’s play call, every skill guy on the roster scores on that play. The third TD was awesome, but the safety should have cleaned that play up-If that’s Kam or JW20 back there he doesn’t score

What you’re experiencing is called confirmation bias. It’s understandable and sometimes we all think with our hearts and not our heads

Would think it’s more about trying to RS him and not wasting his eligibility just to return kicks. Doubtful (if he’s that dude) he stays in college more than 3 years but that’s the logical outlook.

Does it matter? He had 3 TD’S against an a DIV 1 opponent. With the best DLine money can buy in CFB.

We tend to have battered wives' syndrome here so we're constantly praying for savior freshmen to come in right away and take the jobs from older players because, frankly a lot of our guys haven't been productive. Now that we actually have productive guys, people need to pump the breaks on freshmen saviors.

I remember Dre dropping everything at GreenTree as a frosh....Low & behold...2yrs later AA....

I'd go Washingtons top 2 over FSU's top 2 but i'm biased and really like that team this year.

Also you keep saying WR room, where you really should be saying WR duo. FSU has 0 depth at this present day and time and if one of those guys goes down, FSU is in big trouble.
FSU’s leading receiver caught 9 passes in week one and has caught 3 passes since. Including the goose egg against Boston College.

Moss and Wayne were superstars, bro. No one was playing over them. They were more than just “proven commodities”.

Really curious if this is real or not - he’s such a generational WR prospect I legit think he’s Julio Jones level impact but OSU feels good, FSU feels good, and UF seemingly also feels good - but he doesn’t seem to be showing up much around here.
