Not even close based on what I’ve seen. Innis is an absolute dog. Hope I’m wrong.
Not a knock on Jojo but Innis was more polished coming out of high school. He was incredibly advanced at his craft for his age. The question for me was where is his ceiling. How much more room for improvement does he have he’s so **** good. Id take Innis in a heartbeat.

The only one I liked better coming out was ****ey. His film was ridiculous. Those 2 were a class above the others.

That's the problem with those high level recruits sometimes. Sometimes you think is he already fully developed? It reminds me of Jeff luc dude was a menace but already at his cieling. Didn't even have a position at fsu

I certainly remember him. He played in Stuart or PSL. He was great in high school but yeah, in hindsight I think it was a combo of hit his ceiling early which made him so much better than everyone on the field with him and played in a fairly weak division if I remember.

the first 1-2 minutes of his highlight tape made him look like one of the nastiest dudes to ever play LB. I still watch it from time to time lol

Whatever yall seen with Innis i don't. Yall call him special, i see a good player. Special gets on the field regardless of depth chart.

And if yall wanna see who raw check out Ahmmon Richards as a Fr. If a guy is 5 stars thats what i expect as a WR. Its not a hard position if you are elite.

I guarantee wherever JJ goes he not riding the bench. USC, Bama, Ohio, FSU, Miami, doesnt matter.

Andre Johnson didn’t see the field at WR at this stage of his freshman year. He had to play special teams to see the field. The board’s favorite prospect last year, Juron ****ey, hasn’t sniffed the field. OSU has a stable of studs in that room.

Terrible example. Who was keeping Richards off the field in 2016 Malcolm Lewis, Dayall Harris? I think most sane people would attribute a top 5 Player in the country as an acceptable reason to not see the field.

if we could somehow win back both Innis and Smith hopefully that triggers dirty Urban Meyer’s final heart attack and Taint shrinks back down to the regional power they should be.

My issue isn’t that the kid(s) isn’t playing as a freshman. I think if you know anything about football you understand that there is a big difference between high school and college, as well as college and the NFL, and bulking up and getting bigger, faster, stronger is a necessity and that’s typically why freshman year is a preparation year for that.

Compounded by the fact that when you get to a program that has recruited so well at your position, you have guys that were “the man” 1-2 years before you that have gone through that preparation process.

My issue is that kids are being promised early playing time, even by these programs with stud groups as a recruiting tool and the kid thinks he’s gonna go to OSU and be in the mix as a starter. Then the kid gets to campus and doesn’t sniff the field and all of a sudden is upset and transfers.

Not seeing innis as special is subjective, i think he’s hella good but not special too but u could be special and still rarely play your freshman year it just depends on the wr room u enter, osu has two projected first rounders. I think jj is special but he probably wouldn’t play much either right now especially if he got on campus late like innis

Plenty of great players rarely played their freshman year.

JS different than innis though he just one of those dudes that probably starts anywhere. And even then depends on the place he goes and the roster. He will play where ever he goes but start as soon as he gets there? Depends
It ain't impossible though.
