I talked to some people and they told me that he went completely off on the coaches and that he has had a bad attitude for weeks but it seemed to blow up sometime in the last few days. Supposedly personal insults were said. Jeff packed his **** and left UM. The coaches at first tried to make it work but it wasnt. Too far gone and we just lost our best player.

I would call it "spoiled brat" behavior as we dont know the fine details but it sure as ***** aint smart.......offensively season has been a nightmare. Rumblings all around; Not the best situation to challenge/dare you coach. Plus a year away from being draft eligible. Just not very smart on his part. this will definitely come up whenever hes declares for the NFL because it a repeat pattern.

Interested to hear the entire story, before having a meltdown - BUT, I'll say this: if holding to a standard of excellence, on and off the field, is a hallmark of this program and coach, I do expect consistancy from ALL involved, and I'm not seeing it currently.

I been done with Richt since Duke. More wood for the fire. He just doesnt fit in miami and his salary definetly isnt worth the product and developement the university and team on offense are getting.

If that’s the case, dude had to go. No staff can afford to let that happen and the kid stay on the team. Sucks for us and was a lose-lose situation if that happened.
