Been saying it all year as he is killing us in by putting us in 3rd and long all year. 0-9 at one point of the game is unaccpetable. Made up for it with the trickery to Morris but we just have to be able to move the ball better and keep that D off the field

He went away from the run totally in the 3rd and it made us look awful. He needs to stick with the run more. The time of possession will kill us again.

Well, at least he's finally getting that running the ball late in the game can be productive and can wear out defenses, even if you weren't able to run it well earlier in the game. That's all I can really say for him.

i read that more as you saying it's fisch's fault that morris is performing poorly considering how strongly you've defended morris

I'll question that desire, at least as it pertains to this game.

Look, through 3 quarters, we had virtually no rushing game. Duke had run the ball 7 times. 1 of those went for 65 yards, the other 6 went for -1 yard. James had carried the ball 6 times and gained a total of 7 yards. Taken together, that's 12 rushes for a total of 6 yards, and 1 rush for 65 yards. You can't build an offensive game plan around that type of rushing game.

What a ridiculous comment. Wide open receivers means the plays COULD be executed, they just weren't. Jedd can't throw the ball for Morris, or point out the open receivers in the middle of the play. Jedd also can't make the short passes that Morris slams at the receivers feet go higher and softer.

Some people will just never be happy. If the run isnt working Fisch gets blasted; if the passing game isnt working, its his fault as well. We beat VT by 18 last night and the guy is getting bashed. He actually called a very good game last night. Morris was awful in the 3rd quarter. When Morris looks like that, there is NOTHING Fisch can do, particularly when VT is stacking the box. When Morris got it rolling again in the 4th, Fisch all of a sudden looked competent again.
